FAQ:

CT2 Formal Wear Wedding Hire process:
• Suits are available for collection generally two days prior to your wedding date (We can accommodate different collection times on request). We ask clients to take all of their suits on the designated collection date after 4pm. We ask everyone to try on at home and should there be any alterations to be made CT2 will be available the following day to make amendments.
• Suits are required to be returned all together in their suit carriers on their agreed return date.
• Fittings for your guests are to be carried out no later than 5pm Monday to Saturday. We ask that you do not organise any more than two individuals at anyone time.
• Pageboys or young children are requested to come in 7-10 days prior to the wedding date for fittings as we will put the exact suits by for them. Please bring their shoes that they will be wearing on the day for their fitting.
• CT2 will provide the following within your hire: Suit, waistcoat, shirt/cuff links & tie or cravat. Please remember we will do our best to facilitate your required colour of tie or cravat but occasionally we can’t match all colours’. If you decide the colour has to be a perfect match for example – A tie to a Bridesmaid’s dress then in this case we would ask you to provide material and we would have a cravat made for €15.00 and a tie for €12.50 per item.
• Shoes are not included for adults or children. We only have shoes for the purpose of fitting adults i.e. to get the correct leg length in trousers.

* How long before the event do I need to book

For weddings we suggest that you book as early as is possible. Booking early will ensure that you can choose from our full range and also our the full size range. For school debs, a day at the races or any black tie events we suggest
you book no later than two weeks to one month before the function. We can (almost) accommodate last minute bookings if necessary.

* Do I need to make an appointment?

We open Monday to Saturday 10.00 - 5.30pm. It is not necessary to make an advance appointment although at certain times, we get very busy for example on Saturday afternoons and you may experience a short wait before we can assist you. Please note we do not take fittings after 5.00pm Monday - Saturday.

* I’ve never hired before, what is a fair price to pay?

The quality of a garment speaks volumes, we pride ourselves on buying our suits from trusted suppliers so that our client will look and feel their absolute best.

*We are getting married abroad, when do we need to return the suits?

Depending on the size of your wedding party, if your bestman is travelling with you, he will normally return the suit on your behalf. If you are getting married and travelling on to your honeymoon destination than we can arrange for you to keep the suit/s at no extra cost depending on the duration. Please enquire at time of booking.

* My groomsmen live all over the Ireland & Overseas, how do we get them fitted?

See attached (PDF Suit Fitting Form) please take the attach form to a local tailor/dressmaker and they will (usually) offer a free measuring service and then email or post the form to us & the suit will be ready for collection at your convenience.Suit fitting Form

* How many people should we bring with us when choosing suits for our wedding day?

In our experience we find that limiting numbers, especially at the important choosing time, is advisable. When groups arrive, there can be too many opinions, we suggest that the bride and groom and either the best man or mother
of the bride/groom at a maximum, any more than this can just make an otherwise pleasant and exciting experience stressful, at this important stage. Unlike some hire companies, we are happy for you to take a photograph on a mobile phone or with a camera so that you may show the suits to other members of the bridal party/family for their comments. Then, at a later date the groomsmen and father's of the bride and groom can visit to try on the suit that you have chosen for them.
